It’s Darcy.
Writer and director Darcy Lueking is a graduate of the Johnny Carson School of Theater and Film at the University of Nebraska and the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. Darcy has worked for comedy tastemakers at CAA, FOX, and Broadway Video.
In her 20’s, she ran a monthly stand-up comedy show out of a living room which regularly drew over 250 audience members.
In recent years, Darcy found her niche as a ghostwriter. She works alongside top-tier directors to develop film, TV, and commercial treatments. She has contributed countless jokes and ideas to hundreds of projects over the last eight years.
This has all served to sharpen her own filmmaking approach… which, let’s face it, is why you are here!
In her spare time, Darcy stewards a Little Free Library, tries her best to “gentle parent” two strong-willed children, and attempts DIY renovations on her dingy, Nebraskan basement (ask her about her grout work!).
